2015 NHFA GALA
19th Annual Noche de Gala Dinner on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C.
As you may know, the Gala brings together the best of Washington and the country – members of Congress and the diplomatic Corps, Hispanic Celebrities and Entertainers, Administration officials, members of the media, and various community advocates – all in support of the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts (NHFA).
The evening will begin with a VIP reception at 6:30 p.m. with dinner following at 7:30 p.m. The Gran Desvelada After-Party will top the evening with music and dancing afterwards. This black-tie Gala benefits the foundation’s various activities that include its scholarship program.
NHFA was founded in 1997 to advance the presence of Latinos in the media, telecommunications, and entertainment industries. The Foundation has concentrated in increasing access for Hispanic artists and professionals while fostering the emergence of new
Hispanic talent. Over the years, NHFA has awarded over $1.6 million to graduate students interested in careers in the entertainment and telecommunication industries at selected universities throughout the country and through its outreach programs. NHFA also supports its scholarship recipients and other interested individuals by hosting panel discussion forums
with top level industry and entertainment executives.
