2017 30th Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards
30th Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards on September 14th at the Historic Warner Theatre, in Washington, DC. We present America with the great value Latinos have provided and continue to provide across various categories. The program will be broadcast on PBS during Hispanic Heritage Month, which is critical considering we are the only program on English-language/mainstream television after we were the first. The Awards – which were created by The White House in 1988 to commemorate the establishment of Hispanic Heritage Month in America – are among highest honors by Latinos for Latinos and supported by 40 national Hispanic-serving institutions that co-host the program. We will also feature top Latino performers and personalities paying tribute to the Honorees and the audience from the stage. I hope you can join us in celebrating 30 years of cultural pride, sense of community, vision, accomplishment and our great promise to America.
